We're glad you asked! Car detailing is the act of cleaning and restoring a vehicle to mint condition. Detailers may clean either the exterior or interior of the vehicle (or both!) to make it look like new.
Car detailing services are much more precise and labor-intensive than just getting a simple car wash. Detailers strategically hand clean the interior and/or exterior of your vehicle and may offer additional services to protect certain parts of the vehicle like the exterior paint or leather seats. An interior detailing not only freshens up your car, but it removes stubborn stains and eliminates odors that you may not have been able to remove yourself.
Want to know a secret? After having worked in dealerships ourselves, we can confidently say that dealerships do not provide near the same amount of effort that mobile companies do when detailing. Dealerships will offer very limited-service, quick details that do not cover all areas of the car where small companies like ours will treat your car as if it was our own. They may be cheap details, but the results speak for themselves.
There are a number of factors that determine how often you should get your car detailed, like the environment you drive in and how often you use your car, but it’s recommended that one gets their car detailed at least twice a year to keep it in excellent shape.
Let’s be honest; owning a vehicle is a big deal and if you’re going to own one, you’re going to want to take the best care of it. Having your car detailed is not done just to impress your passengers- it’s actually a great way to help maintain the vehicle. Routine upkeep of the vehicle will help prolong its lifespan and make it easier to clean when it’s time for a detailing session. Receiving detailing services is especially helpful to those who are trying to sell or trade their vehicle.
Absolutely! We know how important your time is so we work to make it convenient for you.
As of right now, we are completely mobile so we do not have a set location for customers to visit us. We take pride in bringing our services straight to your door so you can kick back and relax while we do the work for you.
While our small business is aiming to one day become completely self-sufficient, we currently do require access to a water spigot and power outlets in order to complete our job.
We perform the detail in the comfort of your own driveway or garage. As long as there’s space for the car to have its doors open (plus a spigot and electrical outlets), we can get the job done. If neither of those options are available, we may sometimes detail on the side of the road or the curb in front of your house, as long as we are out of the way of traffic.
If weather conditions are clear, then no, we do not need access to a garage. However, if the weather is bad, we may need to work inside a garage to perform an interior detail. An exterior detailing will always have to be performed outside.
We take both cash and Venmo. A digital receipt will be emailed to each customer after their detail.
As long as you have a garage or covered space for us to work, we don’t let the bad weather stop us from detailing an interior. However, it can make it tricky to perform an exterior detailing, which may have to be rescheduled to a later date.
Currently we detail cars (SUV's, trucks, vans), motorcycles, and RVs.
Because we are striving to make customer convenience one of our top priorities, we will perform this service for you. However, you are always welcome to clean out your own vehicle ahead of time if you’d prefer.
Most of the time, yes. On rare occasions, we can meet your needs on the day of but it may cost extra for us to perform our services with such late notice.
Cracked windshield? Dented doors? These things don’t stop us from providing you with the cleanest car possible. We will take extra care to make sure your vehicle shines inside and out, even if it may be time to hit the shop.
Our range of services does not extend to repairing a vehicle. If there is a major problem with your car, you will want to hire a mechanic or take it to the shop to get it properly fixed. However, if we are detailing and come across a small, fixable issue such as a broken vent or loose mirror, we may fix it for you if we are able.
Car/booster seats are apart of our additional services that we may provide, so it’s up to you on whether or not you want us to clean them. However, keep in mind that they will require an extra charge if cleaned.
Dealing with rust is an extensive process and can damage the vehicle if not done properly so it is currently outside of our available services. You may want to take your car to a repair shop in order to safely remove rust from your vehicle.
That is entirely up to you! If the glovebox or console center contain personal items or things you’d rather not remove, we can still perform a thorough detail of the vehicle and clean only the outsides of those areas. If you do choose to have them cleaned, we can remove their contents for you and clean them at no extra charge.
The length of a car detailing session depends on a number of factors, but on average it takes about 3-5 hours to complete an interior alone, 2-3 for exterior alone, and around 7-8 for both. However, these numbers depend on the condition of the vehicle and what extra services are being performed.
On a nice, sunny day- at least 3 hours. However, a number of factors can slow down the drying process like humidity and bad weather. If it’s cold or humid out, then expect anywhere from 6 hours up to a full 24 hours for your interior to completely dry.
The maximum amount of vehicles possible for us to detail in one day is 2 vehicles, possibly 3 to 4 if the condition of each vehicle is near mint. We will only work on one car at a time.
